For a little bushland magic, head to Echuca Moama, twin towns on the Murray River, for Moama Lights.

The 14-day event, between May 8 and 22, is essentially a sound and light festival with a 600-metre lit-up trail that tells the story of three generations of the towns. You’ll be rubbing your eyes in amazement as the bush and river become fluorescent and immerse you in their tales.
