But an Australian, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, has emerged with the top gong for the Best dance or electronic recording for his collaboration with French electronic duo Justice.

The Aussie musician teamed up with Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay of Justice for two songs, Neverender and One Night/All Night, on the 2024 album Hyperdrama.
Neverender won the Grammy ahead of music from Disclosure, Four Tet, Fred Again.. and Baby Keem, Kaytranada and Childish Gambino.
Another Australian Grammy hopeful, Troye Sivan, missed out on the Grammy for Best dance pop recording for his song Got Me Started.
The award went to Sivan's collaborator and tour buddy Charli XCX for Von Dutch from her celebrated 2024 album Brat.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds were nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance for Song Of The Lake and Best Alternative Music Album for Wild God, but they missed out on both awards.
Sabrina Carpenter's hit song Espresso won the hotly-contested category of Best pop solo performance ahead of Beyoncé's Bodyguard, Charli XCX's Apple, Billie Eilish's Birds of a Feather and Chappell Roan's Good Luck, Babe!
The Beatles won the Grammy for Best rock performance with the posthumous release of John Lennon's Now and Then.
The iconic band beat out The Black Keys, Green Day, Idles, Pearl Jam and St Vincent to secure the Grammy.
