Shocking CCTV footage showing two alleged arsonists setting fire to a barber shop has been released as investigators appeal to the public for information.

The arsonists broke into a shopping centre in Melton, on the northwest outskirts of Melbourne, on December 30, 2024, police said.
The pair allegedly made a beeline for a barber shop, kicked open the security shutters and poured a jerrycan of petrol inside the salon.
Footage showed one of the alleged arsonists lighting the fuel while standing in a puddle of it.
The suspects fled the store and the shopping centre after the fire ignited.
Police said that no members of the public were in the barber shop or the shopping centre at the time.
Search for suspects
Detectives were searching for two men shown on CCTV footage.
The first man was around 160 centimetres tall, wearing a black face covering, grey jumper, white gloves, black pants and black runners, carrying a jerry can and hammer.
The second man was around 170 centimetres tall, wearing a black face covering, black baseball cap, black framed glasses, grey hooded jumper, black gloves, dark navy pants and grey runners, carrying a silver bar.
