Pound gets green light

PLEASED BY DECISION: Cootamundra Shire Council compliance officer Glen McAtear, ranger Dennis Ryan and pound volunteer Hannah Orr are looking forward to work commencing on the new pound. Dennis is holding a female terrier mix currently available to a good home. She is desexed and her new owners will only need to register and microchip her at a combined cost of $71.

THE current facility is way short of what it should be and this financial year Cootamundra Shire Council will commence building a brand new animal pound.
