“It’s good to get outdoors and be in the fresh air, I’m always inside on my phone or watching TV,” she said.
Hayley wants to spend more time on the sporting field this year.
She’s thinking of playing netball and before joining a team she’s honing her fine motor skills at golf training.
“I’m warming back into it,” she said.
Ainslee Marr, 11, is back again for another season and after playing golf for more than half of her life, she’s a “star pupil” according to instructor Janette Harris.
Ainless loves nothing more than to beat the boys in a round of golf.
It was a slow start to the season on Tuesday with around 10 students unable to make training at 4pm due to cricket commitments.
Nevertheless Mrs Harris was pleased to see so much young talent at the golf course.
