On February 7 and 8, with mum Sarah, Cooper took part in the MHAA State championships show which was held at SIEC in Sydney.
Cooper took his beautiful horse Sedona Hell Yeah and competed in a number of events.
He was named State Champion in the eight years and under Showmanship section.
He also took out State Champion status in the eight years and under Trail involving an obstacle course you do with your horse.
State Champion in eight years and under Hunter (Jumping) completing his winning day.
With a swag of State Champion ribbons under his belt, Cooper was awarded State Grand Champion eight years and under Performance.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Cooper and Sedona Hell Yeah compete in Liberty which is an open class - Horses move to music in the large arena and are caught after 90 seconds.
Here, the dynamic duo won Reserve State Champion, with Cooper beating his mum and her horse who came in fourth.
Congratulations Cooper – no doubt we will be seeing plenty more of this talented horseman’s name in the future!
