Trainees in Cootamundra have enjoyed considerable success in previous years, including Steve Warton who won the 2009 Riverina School Based Apprentice of the Year, 2013 Riverina Apprentice of the Year and was a finalist in the 2013 NSW Training awards.
This year Nicole Paxman of Brad Loiterton’s Auto Electrics is among the nominees for Riverina Apprentice of the Year.
Employers and registered training organisations are encouraged to nominate employees or learners across a range of categories, including ATSI Student of the Year, VET in Schools Student of the Year and Vocational Student of the Year.
Those entering the 2015 NSW Training Awards will need to meet certain eligibility requirements and complete an official entry form. The closing date for entries is Friday March 27.
