“It’s not feasible,” Cr Slattery said.
“The problem is, if you want a disabled space there you’ve got to do away with three parking spaces.”
Cr Slattery said the residents have attended two mayoral consultations including last Friday’s meeting to complain about parking concerns on Parker Street.
“They’re all going crook about businesses parking on the main street and taking up space, but if the business people don’t park there, the town will look empty to people who are driving through,” Cr Slattery said.
He said that Cootamundra residents are spoiled with parking options and it’s easy enough to find a convenient parking space in town.
