U3A HAPPENINGS
FOR the last week of term the U3A Group is taking a History Tour of Muttama tomorrow, leaving the Cootamundra Library at 9.30am.
How nice to see the doors of this ‘many memories’ village hall open. A tour of the Muttama village will follow.
AND Thursday’s ‘Supervised Bridge with Joan Adams’ is certainly filling the tables at Stephen Ward Rooms.
HENNESSY BALL
COOATMUNDRA boy Ned Steinke and his partner Symone Bulmar attended the Young Hennessy College Ball held in May.
A number of Cootamundra students who attend Hennessy College were in attendance.
GREETINGS
WARMEST (belated) birthday greetings to Yvonne Collingridge who celebrated her birthday on Saturday last. Yvonne is a resident at the Retirement village.
Brilliant girl and drama teacher Emma Jones tomorrow celebrates her birthday. Miss Em will again be at the helm of a school holiday drama workshop at The Arts Centre. Also happy birthday to top member of staff at IGA Katie Gould.
DANCE GROUP
THE Cootamundra Dance Group took their talents to the nursing home recently to delight the many residents.
The group meet on Tuesday at Dickson Hall, new members welcome, and they now also do a Wednesday night practice with monthly dances at the Ex-Services Club.
