The 2015 presentation night at Stockinbingal Bowling Club brought young and old together to celebrate another fantastic year.
It was an emotional as the school not only farewelled the “Three Amigos” but also three families.
Year Six graduates Sam Reid, Harris Lloyd and Danniella Berghuis will be on to new adventures next year, as will Year Five students Harvey Holt and Ted Caldwell.
This meant saying goodbye to the Berghuis, Caldwell and Holt families.
Principal Colin Trickett thanked the families for their many years as part of the proud school community.
In his address, Mr Trickett spoke about watching his own three children grow up and the importance of “grasping every moment”.
“Work to your capacity and give yourselves opportunities,” he said.
Mr Trickett thanked the staff and parents for their work, and the students for “keeping us inspired”.
In her last P&C report, Belinda Holt spoke of a successful year on a “smaller scale” than the previous.
She thanked the parents and Mr Trickett, saying the school is “very lucky to have him”.
Outgoing captain Sam Reid passed on his role to Grace Large.
He jokingly encouraged Grace to be more organised than him and thanked the school for choosing him to represent them this year.
“It was an outstanding opportunity to challenge myself,” Sam said.
“I have never done anything like it and I feel very honoured.”
The fun night featured three songs from the choir and concluded with a brilliant slideshow put together by K1/2 teacher Linden Webber.
