Shaun is following in the footsteps of his mother and sister Jada by joining the Royal Australian Navy.
Shaun completed his Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic trade at the Cootamundra Shire Council and headed off to Cerberus for recruitment training.
Shaun was promoted by the Royal Australian Navy to Able Seaman Marine Technician last month.
We wish Shaun a safe and adventurous new career and hope he returns regularly to Cootamundra to visit.
