Guest speaker was Rowan Davidson, a dietician who works from the local Community Centre.
Rowan spoke about healthy eating and diabetes.
Also, Tracey Walker from the local hospital explained about a program for people over 65 called “Stepping On” for falls prevention.
After the meeting members enjoyed a light lunch of soup, sandwiches and cake and a sing-a-long.
Next meeting will be Monday, July 11.
