A cold day did not stop Toy Library users and community members from turning out to mark the milestone.
As well as the usual toys and games available at the library, there was a visit from Kellie Holmes from the Cootamundra Library with a special ‘Storytime’ session and Terrina Bowditch of the Sports Stadium with a taste of their ‘Pre-School Sports’.
Frozen character Elsa (Emma Jones of Miss Em’s Drama School) made a special appearance which was a hit with the youngsters.
There was also a jumping castle thanks to the Lions Club, CADAS Kids doing face painting and when the police car and fire truck turned up the day got ever better.
The Toy Library operates out of Dickson Hall (corner of Cooper and Adams Streets) each Wednesday and Saturday from 10.30am until 12noon.
Annual memberships start at just $30 a year, allowing users to borrow two toys at a time for up to two weeks.
