A 33-year-old Cootamundra woman has been arrested over allegedly fraudulently obtaining more than $300,000 from local business Agland Industries, which includes Cootamundra Toyota, Cootamundra Holden and Temora Holden.

In May this year, detectives from Cootamundra Local Area Command commenced Strike Force Aside to investigate the missing funds.
Following months of inquiries, Police arrested the woman at about 9am today, Friday, December 9.
She was charged with 30 counts of ‘obtain financial advantage by deception’ as well as ‘destroy financial documents’.
Police allege the woman, who is understood to be a former employee, transferred more than $300,000 from the Agland Industries business account into her own bank account between August 2014 and April 2016.
The investigation is ongoing with further offences a possibility of being identified as detectives continue to comb the books.
The woman has been granted bail and will appear in Cootamundra Local Court on February 6, 2017.
