Whether they are borrowing new books to read at home, DVDs to watch or making use of the library’s Xbox or iPad for games, there has been plenty to keep young people on school holidays entertained.
The Summer Reading Club kicked off on January 3 and will run until the end of the school holidays.
The aim of the Summer Reading program is to encourage young people to visit the library often over the holidays.
Each time a school student borrows a book they can enter the prize draw to win a $50 Toyworld voucher.
The library is also hosting a number of school holiday activities.
