The Phillip Group of CWA branches work tirelessly raising funds to support country students.
Recently, the Wallendbeen CWA branch handed $350 educational grants to six students.
Jacob Shepherd, in year nine, Seth Clark in year eight and Maddison Gillies in year seven were all supported by the St George and Sutherland Shire branch.
Maddison Philp, in year eight, received her educational grant from the Sydney City branch while the Eastern Suburbs branch was behind the grant handed out to year seven student Preston Harrison.
Mikayla Starr, in year seven, received a grant from the Manly branch as well as the Ruby Brownlow Memorium Fund.
On behalf of the Wallendbeen CWA members, the students and their families, Wallendbeen CWA President Marcia Thorburn thanks the Phillip Group for their continued assistance to country students.
Mrs Thorburn took pride in the pleasurable task of handing the educational grants to each of the student recipients.
