A man has been charged over a stabbing at Tumut on Saturday. Police were flagged down by a resident about 2am who told them a man suffering multiple stab wounds had arrived at his home on Quandong Avenue. A 22-year-old man was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition. A 35-year-old man was arrested a short time later was taken to Tumut police station. He has been charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and common assault.
