The girls were last seen with their mother on Sunday, May 21 at their Doreen address.
Police now believe the children are in New South Wales with family members, and may have been in Gundagai as recently as this morning.
It is believed the girls may have travelled to New South Wales in a blue VW Polo hatchback with registration TXA 201.
Police have not sighted the vehicle.
Investigators and family have concerns for their welfare and have released an image of the girls in the hope someone recognises them and can provide information on their whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Emily or Tahlee is urged to contact Greensborough Police Station on 8432 0200.
