It wasn't too badly attended considering a lot of members are away for various reasons.
The general meeting consisted mainly of information on result of the last raffle, which was very good.
The next raffle will be the Father’s Day one starting soon.
President Marjory also mentioned all the very generous donations recently received from various committees in our community.
This generous support is very appreciated.
Reference was also made of the State Conference to be held at Tweed Heads in October 2017.
After the closing of the general meeting President Marjory opened the AGM with a welcome to everyone especially Lorraine Hoffman, the deputy Riverina Regional Representative, Gloria Schultz our Patron, and a visitor from the Junee Auxiliary.
She also asked us to remember the members who have died during this last 12 months.
President Marjory then accepted the apologies especially the one from Linda Swales,Riverina Regional Representative.
During the reading of the financial report it was noted that from July 2016 to July 2017 items purchased by the auxiliary for The Cootamundra District Hospital amounted to $28,742.
For this we all feel very proud and thankful to the community for their generous support as always.
In her report president Marjory thanked all her committee for their hard work and support, and mentioned the interesting experience of attending the various conferences during her Presidency.
Lorraine Hoffman then enlightened us all on the work of the Riverina Region and congratulated us on our support and effort.
All seats were then made vacant and Lorraine Hoffman took the chair to conduct the election of new officers for 2017-18, as follows; president Jenny McClintock, vice presidents Margaret Young, Jannice Slattery, secretary Joan Collins, treasurer Marjory Taprell, publicity officer Maria Ryan, patron Gloria Schultz.
The meeting then closed and all present were invited to share afternoon tea.
