This year’s event has been set down for Friday, October 13 with registration at 5pm and the run/walk to get underway at 5.45pm, starting from under the school COLA.
It is an event open to all families in Cootamundra, not only those with students at Sacred Heart.
Funds raised at last year’s event contributed to the turfing of the school near the administration block.
This year, P&F president Melissa Finnigan said funds raised will go towards new tables in the primary classrooms and an upgrade to the IT lab used by secondary students.
Mrs Finnigan said the colour run aspect was introduced to the school's traditional fun run in a bid to attract high-school aged teens.
It was a gamble that paid off as families flocked to be involved.
Entry is $10 per person and can be paid on the day.
The P&F will also host a barbecue and sell drinks on the evening.
