The round 10 Delta Agribusiness match saw the Crusaders win the toss, and with the deck doing a bit, they made the competitive score 5/177 and then restricted the Central Hotel side to 7/150.
Crusaders got away to an ordinary start at 2/13, then solid partnerships of 53 runs for the third wicket between Scott Meale, 31, and Darren Connell, and a fourth wicket of 67 between Phil Gay, 27, and Connell making the bulk of the runs.
Darren Connell is in great touch with the bat, top scoring with 72.
Connell now leads the aggregate in the Delta Agribusiness competition with 241 runs at 48.
Central Hotel got away to a flyer and at the first drinks break (20 overs) they were 0/83 with the left and right combination of Brendan Gale and Adam Twyford scoring freely.
The Crusaders still had plenty of overs left from their pace bowling duo of Garness and Bradley where they were able to eventually put the screws on the Central batters.
The bowling star for Crusaders was David Garness.
The tall quick dismissed both Gale for 51 and Twyford for 42 and finished with 3/8 from 10 overs including five maidens.
Fellow quick Dean Bradley captured 3/47 from 10 overs.
The match saw 327 runs scored for the loss of 12 wickets.
The win by the Come Alive Fitness Crusaders sees them maintain top position on the ladder, while Central Hotel holds down third spot.
In the other match, S&C Blues easily defeated Mimosa by six wickets.
Mimosa batting first made 135, the Blues peeled off the runs in the 29th over to finish with 4/136.
