The performances were held over three days with each performance boasting a full-house.
The theme was from The Nutcracker, little presents, mice, candy canes, soldiers, Arabian princesses and of course the Nutcracker and Clara graced the stage at the Tin Shed Theatre in their magnificent costumes.
Chris Edwards School of Dance will be holding their 2018 Registration and Open Day on Monday, January 29 from 3pm to 6pm at the studio, 55 Cooper Street.
Proprietor Christine Edwards affectionately known as ‘Miss Chris’ has been teaching her love of ballet to local children for over 32 years and is a registered teacher with the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance.
Students can learn classical ballet, pointe and repertoire, character dance and free movement dance, catering for two-and-a-half-years-old to senior classical ballet.
Royal Academy of Dance Examinations are also offered to students.
Students excelled during the examinations last year with three students receiving distinctions in their intermediate foundation examinations.
At the present time Ms Edwards is attending courses in Sydney, “Unravelling Repertoire” and “Silver Swans” to pass on her teachings to her students.
