Last Friday P Rasmussen was teamed with K Breasley and they recorded a win over C Miller and D Bateup (16-13). The triples game saw C Willis, N Stubbs, and D Harris victorious over K Black, S Wilkinson and D Manwaring (22-14). The third game was between the team of R Cleveland and M Barber and J Malone and G Davidson who scored the first shot, however, their opposition notched up 19 shots on next eight ends and continued to a big margin win of 19 shots, and thus, earning the chooks for the day.
Just ten players Tuesday and the pairs game was a hotly contested affair between A Ward and S McKellar and G Bottrall and D Bateup, who earned 16.5 points for their 24-18 win. The chook winners on the day were C Peters, S Wilkinson, and P Cockram as a result of their 22-13 win and 18 points score against Roger Williams, B Stephens and K.Townley. Roger won the raffle chook.
The third round of the pennants saw our club sides continuing to be successful with Grade 3 having a 9-1 win over Coota Ex-Services Grade 4. Last Sunday. R Rosengreen`s team defeated R Bondaruk`s team 22-21. M Barber`s team defeated J Goggin`s team 28- 14 and K Breasley`s team went down to R New`s team 17-20.
Our Grade 6 side was at home to Coota Ex-Services Grade 5 and in a dramatic finish on Graeme Worboys’s rink, Graeme scored one point that gave us the aggregate and another 9-1 final score. G Worboys team scored a 19-14 win over R Anderson`s team. E Jarrott`s team defeated M Willis`s team 24- 16 and A Ward`s team went down to J Deacon`s team 15 -27. This week our Grade 6 side plays Coota Ex-Services Grade 6 on their green.
