Blues president Todd Basham thanked everyone for a great effort in raising funds for MND.
The Cootamundra Blues would like to thank everyone involved with its MND charity day on the weekend - it was certainly the Blues’ Big Freeze.
Special thanks to the Blues’ committee and all the volunteers involved including, Matt Stadtmiller, Kat Gould, Justin Roberts, Sam O'Loughlin, Skye Berryman, Belinda Thompson, Sally Ormond, Mal Sutherland, Todd Basham and Grady Sheather who braved the freezing conditions to take part in the Ice Dunking.
Also to Tisha McTavish, Sue Chambers and Julie Bateup for taking gold coin donations at the gate in the rain, sleet, and misty conditions. Thanks to Gil Kelly for operating the barbecue.
A big thank you to Phil Quarmby who helped with the auction at the Family Hotel. Special thanks to the Cootamundra Soccer Club, Cootamundra Rugby Club, police association, and Ainslie Football Club for their contributions.
Thanks to everyone who donated or bought merchandise to add to this great cause
The Cootamundra Blues look like raising approximately $6500 to add to the Big Freeze campaign.
All money raised from the Big Freeze goes towards vital MND research into finding potential treatments and a cure for Australian MND patients.
