The Seahawks ran out easy winners by 43 points. booting 15.8 (98) to 8.7 (55).
The Blues failed to boot a goal in the first quarter for the third time this season, putting them on the back foot.
While they were well beaten in the opening three quarters, the Blues took something out of the match, winning the last quarter after kicking 5.2 to 4.1.
Onballer Jimmy Finucane was, once again, easily the Blues’ best.
Although he started slow, he showed his class in the third and fourth quarters. In the last quarter, he booted three goals.
So dominant was Finucane, he was the only Blues goal kicker with multiple goals, finishing with four majors.
Another player who played his best match of the season was Brandon Sanderson. The tall youngster, who travels over from Young, gave the Blues plenty of drive out of the centre with his strong marking and great defensive work.
Down back, Scott Mazzocchi stopped many of the Blues attacking raids with his strong marking.

WOMEN
The girls found the competition frontrunners the Riverina Lions too strong, going down by 53 points, 9.10 (64) to 1.5 (11).
Sienna Bloor was the Blues solitary goal kicker, booting one in the first quarter.
The Lions were at their strongest in the opening two quarters.
They kicked six of their nine goals in a first-half blitz.
Best: Michela Percival, Sienna Bloor, Sally Ormond, Sarah Clarke, Sarah Stephens and Regan Smith.
On Saturday, the girls will take on the Woden Blues at Greenway from 11am.
