The market consisted of 800 new season lambs, 700 old lambs, and 1451 mutton. With the dry times continuing there was an increase of mutton sheep, and as per usual each agent had four to five lead pen of lambs
With all regular buyers present and a few extra processors from the south who operated spasmodically, they operated in a market that was fully firm to slightly dearer than the previous sale.
Once again there was limited re stocker interest.
Top price of the day and another yard record for Cootamundra was a pen of XB old lambs supplied by John Cameron of Dirnaseer that made $270.

With an estimated CW of 28kg and wearing a small $3 coat they came back at $9.50kg CW and went to Fletchers International after spirited bidding.
New season lambs were also eagerly sought after and the top price this sale went to Steve Afflick of Wombat with a pen of lambs with an estimated CW of 23.5kg CW that made $240 or $9.75kg CW.
Top mutton price was a pen of XB Hoggets making $184 and cast for age XB ewes up to $146.
The mutton market for hoggets was also $5 to $10 better while the older mutton was firm to slightly better on last sale.

- 23 to 25kg CW made from $ 230 to $240
- 21 to 23kg CW made from $210 to $220
- 19 to 21kg CW made from $190 to $200

Most three to four score new season lambs were in the 8.50 to $ 9.50kg CW with some touching $10kg CW
Mutton prices ranged from $4.50 to $5.40kg CW range to average $4.75kg CW to be slightly higher.
