Teenage goalkeeper Jada Mathyssen-Whyman is in line for her Matildas debut after being named in a youth-focused squad for upcoming friendlies against France and England.

Mathyssen-Whyman is one of four players with three caps or less in coach Alen Stajcic's 18-strong selection for the fixtures in Saint-Etienne and London.
Several senior Matildas players including Samantha Kerr, Lydia Williams and Katrina Gorry have been spared from the trip and given time to recover from their heavy schedules, while attacker Hayley Raso is injured - meaning the fresh faces are likely to see significant game time.
That's good news for the likes of Mary Fowler and Amy Sayer, who both made their senior debuts in the recent Tournament of Nations in the US, as well as three-cap forward Princess Ibini, who is in the mix for her first Matildas appearance in more than a year.
Western Sydney's Mathyssen-Whyman, 18, is one of only two goalkeepers in the squad alongside Mackenzie Arnold.
"I am excited by the opportunity we have to develop the depth within our team during next month's camp and am confident that this squad has the ability to challenge France in Saint-Etienne, and the Lionesses in London," Stajcic said.
"With some established Matildas not available for selection, our October matches will give us a great opportunity to test other players in what will be a challenging environment.
"Our next camp will also give the players, as well as our staff, the opportunity to prepare for various situations and challenges that may arise during next year's World Cup."
There is still plenty of experience in the squad, with veteran Lisa De Vanna in line to earn her 141st international cap.
Midfielder Elise Kellond-Knight will become just the seventh Matildas player to reach 100 appearances for the national team if she features in both matches.
Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord and Kyah Simon are other regulars to be named.
World No.3 France will host next year's World Cup while England, ranked No.4 in the world, are coached by former Manchester United defender Phil Neville.
Australia have lost only twice in 13 matches this year and were unbeaten in the Tournament of Nations, to finish second to the United States on goal difference.
