The Summer Reading Club is in full force with preschool and primary school children able to register at the library free of charge. Each time they borrow a book their docket goes into a prize draw to be drawn at the end of January.
Participation in the Summer Reading Club encourages children and young people to read for fun and enjoyment all summer long, thereby sustaining their skills into the coming school year and facilitates recreational reading.
Cupcake decorating will be held at the library on Friday, January 18 from 10.30am until 11.30am.
Open to children aged five to 12, kids can create beautifully decorated cupcakes before getting to eat them.
Cost is $10 per child.
Turn your nails into works of art with a nail art session at the library on Wednesday, January 16 from 10am until 11am.
Open to kids eight years and above at a cost of $5 per child.
