Cootamundra Nursing Home resident Doreen Gunn celebrated 107 years on Thursday with family and friends joining her special day.

Her birthday is February 29 meaning she only has one every four years, so technically Mrs Gunn is only 26.
Mrs Gunn has spent close to 40 years in Cootamundra after spending her early life in Sydney.
Her working life was spent bookbinding, with the trade seeing her work at King George Hospital, Sydney University and Sargents Pies in Windsor.
Mrs Gunn is a mother of eight, her children now living all over Australia.
As well as her daughter Lorraine, who lives in Cootamundra, Mrs Gunn was visited on her birthday by a son from Sydney and another daughter from Queensland.
She has 32 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 29 great-great grandchildren and five great-great-great grandchildren, making it five generations of the family all going strong.
Mrs Gunn received the usual swag of letters from politicians passing on birthday wishes this year, which she appreciated, but what she was most looking forward to was hearing local musicians Gedupndans (Peter and Gale Bell) entertain at her party.
The party was held at the Cootamundra Nursing Home on Thursday afternoon, the music topped off by birthday cake and fine company.
Mrs Gunn only moved into the Nursing Home approximately two years ago and certainly has her wits about her.
She holds a conversation well and while she needs a wheelchair to get around these days, she is able to use her walker to get up from her armchair into the wheelchair independently.
Mrs Gunn says the key to her long life is maintaining a positive attitude towards every day.
She does not worry about anything saying there is simply no point.
"If you worry about what has happened one day, the next day can still turn out good so why worry?" she said; a philosophy she encourages all of her family and friends to adopt.
