Grace Large, Robertt Alexander, Justin Sheedy, Lahana Forrest and Tiarnah Randall bravely put their hands up to have their heads shaved during the event, and according to SRC Captain Brianna Hefren, there were more volunteers, but time ran out.
"It was really great to see the whole school becoming involved for such a worthwhile cause." Ms Hefren said. "We also had three volunteers, Max Cameron, Ben Good and Aliza Schultz, to have their legs waxed. The boys rated the pain at a seven out of ten for pain in the beginning, but it climbed to a steady eight by the end."
The school raised $2400 for their efforts and hope to be repeating the fundraiser next year.
"We would like to say a big thank you to 'Hair Design' for supporting us with our fundraiser. They have supported us every year and we truly appreciated them donating their time and expertise." Ms Hefren said.
