Coota Wattlebirds, the group who've done the hard yards and paperwork to set up a community garden in Cootamundra, is inviting ideas for what should be included.
Spokesperson Julianne Collingridge says the group only needs one more legal detail to be clarified before it will be able to announce the garden's location.
"We have a healthy budget after getting a grant from the Stronger Communities Fund, and we hope to include lots of shared raised garden beds on a rotation system, water tank, a social area including barbecue facilities and a pizza oven, a children's area, garden shed and potting area, shade structures, lighting and security and, of course, chickens," she said.
"We'd like people's ideas for anything they think should be included, and what gardening-related activities should be offered.
"There'll also be an opportunity for businesses to become sponsors.
"If you have any ideas and would like to be a part of the garden, please email us at email@example.com."
