The meeting was well attended and each person in attendance had input in the meeting, we find the general discussions very helpful as each person is different, and the support we get from each other is invaluable.
The month of April is Parkinson's awareness month and anyone suffering from Parkinson's, their carers or friends are most welcome to come along to these informal meetings, there is no charge and afternoon tea is provided, we welcome all.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17 at 2pm in Stephen Ward room and there will be a speech therapist as our guest speaker.
