Congratulations to Judith Mulligan of Young who is the District Singles Champion for 2019 after defeating Alison Cutcliffe from Grenfell.
Well done to all our players, especially Betty Cleveland, who was beaten in the semi-finals by Judith, the eventual winner.
In the consolation final (for players defeated in the first round), congratulations also to Country Club bowler, Jan Slavin, who won against Sonya Corcoran of Boorowa.
Well done and thank you to all who organised, played or marked.
In conjunction with the above finals on Thursday, social bowls was Queen of the Green singles play.

With the highest points score, Neta Manwaring is Queen of the Green for April.
Ellenor Armstrong, Marsha Phillips and Jenny Blundell had an enjoyable time at Stockinbingal President's Day on Sunday.
They lost their first match and were beaten by a single point in the second.

EX-SERVICES CLUB: District Singles were held at Cootamundra Country Club where Cootamundra Ex-Services were represented by Sara Lopez and Lee Bristow, unfortunately both were beaten in the first round.
The first round of the inter club challenge got off to shaky start for our girls losing both their rinks. Margaret Cosgrove, Carolyn Buchanan and Lynn Fisher going down 12-15, while Vera Jeffery, Sara Lopez and Wendy Deacon lost their rink 15-20.
Close game, well done.
The next round is April 27 at Young with Cootamundra Ex playing the Young Club.
Club Major Singles Championship: Lorraine Evelyn and Sara Lopez played the remaining semi-final with Lorraine going on to win and will now play Carolyn Buchanan in the final. This should be a great game.
