The pennant season for our South West District bowlers has concluded and our Grade 4 side has qualified to go on to the Zone 8 play-off. Our Grade 6 side started well but finished badly.

A couple of major singles to report. Firstly, a strong performance by Peter Rasmussen gave him a victory over Rodney Crowe. After the 7th end Peter took the lead and went on to finish 32-27. Winning the first end was the only bright spot for "the old bloke"' in his encounter with David Harris who went on to next round with his 34 -12 victory.
A third major singles saw Kevin Medcalf victorious over Adam Hutchinson to the tune of 31-17.
Tuesday and three games of pairs with some big scores recorded. C Peters and J Cooper defeated W Rush and B Gibson (28-16) for 17.5 points. G Bottrall and G Worboys defeated A Ward and C Jordan (24-16) for 17.5 points. Winners of the meat trays were E Jarrott and P Rasmussen with a (36-14) win over D O`Brien and G. Hagan for 18.5 points.
