The Earl McGee Relay is open to small schools with under 24 students registered. Jugiong currently has 19 students attending. The boys won their heat by a massive 11 seconds.
The four boys have trained with the Jugiong Swimming Club during the Summer season and currently, parents are taking turns ferrying the boys to the Cootamundra Heated Pool to train.
"The same team went to Sydney for this event last year, and achieved the Silver Medal." Sam's mum Nicole Manwaring said.
"They had their sights set firmly on the Gold for this year."
The boys achieved a winning time of 2.33.64, a result they can certainly be proud of.
"There are some very proud parents in Jugiong." Mrs Manwaring said.
