Cootamundra and district residents are preparing to commemorate Anzac Day on Thursday with a number of services to be held across the region.

In town, Dawn Service will take place at the Albert Park cenotaph from 6am.
Breakfast will be served at the Ex-Services Club from 7am at a cost of $5 per person.
The march will then take place from the club back to Albert Park at 10.30am before the commemoration service begins at 10.45am.
Both services will be hosted by the Cootamundra RSL Sub-Branch.
The Cootamundra Concert Band is inviting children and adults to sing at both the dawn service and commemoration service.
The band has been honoured to provide accompaniment to these services since 1999.

While the forecast is for fine weather, should rain occur the march and ceremony will be abandoned and the service will be held at the club from 11am.
Meanwhile, Stockinbingal will host their service at King George V Park in Brittania Street from 2pm.
This will be followed by a gathering at the Stockinbingal Bowling Club.
The march in Wallendbeen will take place at 9am from the school gate (assemble at 8.45am) towards the cenotaph where a service will be held.
Once again students from the Wallendbeen Public School will be involved in the march and service, together with community members from the village.
The village of Bethungra and surrounds will gather for Dawn Service commencing at 6.15am with community members asked to arrive at 6am.
A catafalque party will be in attendance.
This service has been hosted by the Integrated Service People's Association of Australia for more than two decades.
In Gundagai, Dawn Service will take place at 6am with a parade and service to be held from 10.30am.
Jugiong residents will gather at 3.30pm at the memorial gates in the park for their service.
Members of the 7th Light Horse - Gundagai Troop will be present at both the Gundagai and Jugiong services on horseback, as well as fitting the Tumblong service at 8.30am into their busy day.
