Warming up your winter with library fun

On Saturday July 13, visitors can meet a real author and win prizes for kids.

Helen Castles, author of Scoop McLaren: Detective Editor will visit the library at 10.30am and it's a wonderful opportunity to find out all about the life of a writer and join us for morning tea.

- Wednesday July 17 @ 10am - Pencil Shaving Art for the school holidays. Kids will create small canvases using pencil shavings, crayons and art pens. This activity costs $5.

- Wednesday July 10 and Friday July 12 - Knitting lessons for children. Sessions run from 10am to 11am and the cost is $2.

- Thursday July 11 and 18 - School holiday movies for kids, 2pm to 4pm, cost is $2

- Monday August 5 @ 10am - Writing Workshops. A Writing Family History workshop with Dr. Rae Luckie. The workshop runs for three hours and cost $30. For bookings phone 6940 2200.

- Baby Bounce is a free program for kids aged 0-2 years with songs, stories and play. No booking required. Dates for next term are July 26, August 9 and 23 and September 6.
