The Coota Blues put in a four-quarter consistent performance on Saturday defeating the Goulburn Swans by 94 points.

The game at Clarke Oval was the match of the round in the AFL Canberra regional grade, with the Blues being undefeated and the Swans going into the game in second position.
The Blues booted four goals in each of the first three quarters and finished off by booting five goals in the final quarter.
The final score was Cootamundra 17-16-118 defeating Goulburn 3-6-24.
The Blues had the luxury of having a full bench, while Goulburn was limited to the bare 18 players.
The Blues led by 17 points at the first change and increased their lead to 34 points at the long break and by the last change, the Blues led by 65 points.
Welcome rain began to fall in the last quarter; however, it did not stop the Blues as they rammed home another five goals and five behinds.
The Blues had many winners across the ground and none played better than Joel Pearson.
Normally at home at full back, Joel enjoyed a run on the ball and was very effective in getting the ball out of the centre.
Full forward Sandy Maskell Knight had a bit of day out booting six goals.
Sandy has a stranglehold on the leading goalkicker in the competition.
The big fellow now has 43 goals.
He is 22 goals clear of his nearest rival Brent Ford from Murrumbateman.

After having the last three matches at home, the Blues travel to Yass next Saturday to take on the Yass Roos.
In the other two matches, Southern Cats were pushed by the Murrumbateman Eagles, however, the Cats prevailed by 16 points.
Belconnen easily accounted for Yass winning by 60 points.
BLUES WOMEN
The Blues women felt the sting of the undefeated Riverina Lions, going down to the competition leaders by 121 points.The final score, 21-14- 140 to 3-1-19.
The women, who were again short of numbers, battled hard all day against a side that are short-priced favourites to win the premiership.

Next Saturday the women play Eastlake at Kingston.
