The light tower replacement is being funded from the NSW government's Stronger Community Grants program, which has provided up to $250,000.
The successful tenderer was Power by Watts.
Council will require Power by Watts to include a remote control system as part of the project for an additional cost, to the above the tender amount, of $4,500.
Council will also ask Power by Watts for an estimate to upgrade the lights from 200Lux to 300Lux as part of the project, providing the estimates are within the $250,000 budget allocation.
Council wants the floodlighting to provide a unique recreational facility with an emphasis on families with young children and the option to attract major sporting activities to the region.
