Rare tie for first place in session | Cootamundra Bridge Club

There was a tie for equal first place going to pairs Frank Davidson and Jenny McAinsh, Lee Furness and Bob Laing and Julie Jenkins and Joyce Cavanagh all on 52.08%. It doesn't happen very often. Then 4th place went to Heather Last and Joan Adams.

Due to circumstances, there will be no Bridge on Monday night until October 7 and that session will be a Red point event.

Members played a 9 table Mitchell movement with 1st place north/south going to Kate Graham and Joan Adams with 62.04% with Mary Norton-Knight and Barb Beveridge in 2nd place on 56.25%.

Carol East and Colleen Honner were 3rd on 55.09% with Heather Last and Caroline Hermes in 4th place on 51.85%. In the east/west field, our winners were Jenny McAinsh and Frank Davidson scoring 61.11% with Sue Lenehan and Barbie Hufton in 2nd place on 54.63%. Third place went to Jude Hillam and Gail Flanery on 53.70%- just a fraction ahead of Lyn Ramsay and Sally Lawler on 53.24% and 5th placing went to Helen Martin and Mary Last on 51.16%.
