Manager/owner Paul Deep said the business had been in operation since 1895, but it could not afford to rest on the laurels of that history.
"Fashion and clothing are constantly changing and we need to change as well," Paul said. "We offer great advice on what looks great and feels good."
The store currently employs five staff as retail assistants and in the field of social media promotion.
Paul believes part of being in business in a smaller centre is being able to give back to and support the community.
"We are born and bred in Coota and employ local people," he said.
"Our support is all community based. We sponsor a lot of sporting, schools and other associations in town.
"Coota is a great town to live in. People are friendly and we have great other businesses in town."
