South West Slopes cricket starts Saturday week, with 13 teams competing across two competitions.
The competition welcomes back the Central Hotel from Cootamundra and S & C Blues from Young, meaning the A grade competition will comprise of five sides - the same number of teams as 2017-18.
The A grade competition sides are: Come Alive Fitness Crusaders and Central Hotel (Cootamundra); Criterion Coyotes and S & C Blues (Young); and Mimosa.
The B Grade competition will again comprise of eight teams: Shamrock Hotel Leprechauns, Bowling Club Tigers and the Renegades (Temora); Burrangong, S & C Club Saints and Criterion Gunners (Young); Ex-Services Magpies and Stockinbingal (Cootamundra).
All matches are 40 overs each, with the exception of the two games before Christmas and the first two matches of January, all Twenty20 clashes.
Play will continue until December 21 and resume on January 11. There is a general bye on the Australia Day long weekend, when all three associations conduct their seven-a-side carnivals.
With the new Fisher Park lights expected to be up and running by Christmas, all three towns will have quality lights for a number of day/night fixtures.
Cootamundra will host the finals on Saturday, March 7.

Ben Price from Temora replaces Kelly Meddings as secretary/treasurer. Meddings is now the NSW cricket manager for Murrumbidgee.
Peter Stimson will continue as president.
