Frank Davidson and Kathy Rolfe led the way with a brilliant score of 78.00 per cent, which was 20 per cent of second placegetters Jenny McAinsh and Joyce Meale, who scored 58.00 per cent. In third place was Heather Last and Sally Lawler (56 per cent). A nine-table Mitchell movement was played on Tuesday, with first place north/south going to Kate Graham and Joan Adams on 64.81 per cent. Heather Last and Caroline Hermes, 63.66 per cent, finished second. Coming in third was Loo Manning and Mary Norton-Knight on 63.19 per cent. Taking out fourth was Ondy Crawford and Sally Lawler (56.71 per cent).
In the east/west field, the winners were Annie MacMaster and Barb Beveridge with 63.89 per cent, followed by Gail Flannery and Jude Hillam on 55.32 per cent.
