The shop was taped off and closed on Thursday morning while Cootamundra officers and an officer from the Forensic Services Group were at location conducting the investigation.
The investigation commenced after staff at the coffee shop discovered a small hole in the shopfront window.
Police said at this stage they are unaware of what caused the damage.
Forensic services are conducting investigations to determine if the hole in the window was caused by a rock or something more sinister.
Investigations are ongoing.
