The two winning pairs from Cootamundra Bridge Club were Jenny McAinsh and Frank Davidson, and Gail Flanery and Jude Hillam. Four pairs ranked in the top 100 in Australia. In the under-50s, there were seven pairs in the top 100.
There were no results from Monday night's session. The club's AGM will be held at 6pm on November 11, followed by play.
A seven and a half table Mitchell Relay movement was played on Tuesday. Winners in the north/south field were Loo Manning and Mary Norton-Knight with 60.32 per cent, followed by Joan Adams and Kate Graham on 54.76. Equal third were Jenny McAinsh and Frank Davidson, and Jilly Pockley and Carol East (52.38).
In the east/west, Annie MacMaster and Barb Beveridge were first with 63.89, followed by Judith Matheson and Cathie Bragg on 59.52, with Gail Flanery and Jude Hillam third. Play next week will be a red point event.
