The tables were adorned with roses for the 14 members attending and guest Evelyn McBride.

New member Margaret Armstrong was thrilled to be presented with her name badge and member's pack by president Jenny.

It looked like we all enjoyed the races with the answers to "What Race Days have you attended?" the Viewpoint.

Members participated in a hat parade and a sweep for which the ladies received prizes.

VIEW Clubs are a valued part of The Smith Family and Cootamundra Day VIEW Club sponsors two Learning for Life students, Victoria and Riley through The Smith Family's educational programs for disadvantaged children.

Currently we are selling tickets in the Christmas hamper raffles every Friday in November at Cootamundra IGA. Tickets are $1 and the raffle will be drawn at the Christmas luncheon on December 5 with four lovely prizes to be won.

Our guest speaker Carol Heath, the manager of the Cootamundra Nursing Home, enlightened us on the origins of the scarf and Beryl Cockerill gave Carol a vote of thanks on our behalf, presenting her with a Certificate of Appreciation and a small gift.

Our next luncheon has a Christmas Surprizes theme with a gift exchange ($10 value) and a trading table of lovely Christmas fare for purchase.
