Along the way they will see Billy Elliott The Musical, take a ferry trip to Watsons Bay and lunch at Bondi, taking in the sculptures along the coast before making their return on Friday.
In social bowls, Rhonda Nolan, Sara Lopez and Lorraine Evelyn defeated Joan Cummins, Margaret Cosgrove and Lauren Bush, 16-11.
Monica Kelly, Carolyn Buchanan and Freda Hambrook were a little too good for Ned Kelly, Marilyn Allen and Lynn Fisher, winning 21-14.
COOTA EX MEN
Social bowls were played on a rather wintry day on Friday, November 8.
Twelve bowlers took to the green, with Jeff Withers, Alan Small and Graeme Snape accounting for Jock Dunn, Keith Hampton and Craig Jordan, 21-16.
Oscar Lopez, G Pennis and Geoff Hillier were comfortable winners against Jim White, Pickles Bradley and Paul Cockram, 25-15.
COUNTRY CLUB
The mixed pairs section of Cootamundra Country Club bowls has been dragging the chain but there was one game played last week.
After a slow start, Neta and Don Manwaring ran down their younger opponents, Karen McMinn and Charlie Willis.
The Willis pairing was in front at end 14 but lost six shots there and the rot set in. The final score was 25-17.
In social play, G. Hagan and C. Willis defeated J. Malone and P. Rasmussen (23-20).
K. Medcalf and R. Cleveland were winners for the day when they defeated C. Miller and E. Thorburn with a 14-shot margin.
A. Ward and W. Manwaring could only manage a 10-shot win over G. Hagan and R. Johnson. The jackpot is still intact.
There was a good battle in the triples game on Tuesday.
G. Hagan. K. Medcalf and C. Willis finished with a 16-point score when they defeated A Ward, J, Jones and C. Jordan 18-16.
The winners of the meat trays were J. Malone and R. Johnson, who scored 17 points by defeating R. Cleveland and G. Davidson 23-18.
The raffle was won by G. Davidson.
A nomination sheet is on the board for Sunday games.
