With the withdrawal of Yass, the Stribley Shield has been reduced to just three teams - Cootamundra, Goulburn, and Wagga.
Cootamundra is defending premiers in the Stribley Shield after soundly beating Wagga in the final last season.
Last season, Cootamundra travelled to Goulburn and won a hard-fought match by just six runs.
Batting first, Cootamundra made 178, they then bowled out Goulburn in the last over for 172.
The Cootamundra side consists of Matt Berkrey (Co -Capt) Nathan Corby (Co-Capt), Dean Bradley, David Garness, Jack Caldwell, Nick Holt, Mick Cronin, Aaron Cronin, Jason Cronin, Gene Kessell and Ryan Connell.
In the remaining matches, Cootamundra host Wagga on December 8.
Cootamundra has the bye on January 19.
Should Cootamundra win both of its matches, they will host the final on February 23 next year.
South West Slopes Cricket League
In the South West Slopes Cricket competition, both Cootamundra A grade teams are playing away.
The Come Alive Fitness Crusaders travel to Cranfield Oval in Young to take on the Coyotes.
The Crusaders will be without Mark Elia and Darren Connell who are playing in the National Over 50s carnival in Perth.
The Central Hotel Rams travel to Nixon Park in Temora to take on Mimosa. The Rams will be missing its captain John Stephens who like Peter Stimson and Peter Gerhard will be in Perth for the Over 50s National Carnival.
