Sam Sharman lead the scoring for Cootamundra Kookaburras in their win over Young in the Under 16 Blooms Chemist competition on Saturday.

Sam finished the Cootamundra innings at 47 not out as the Kookaburras put on 5/136 in 25 overs.
Darion O'Toole (24) and Ted Caldwell (17) assisted push the scoreline to a very competitive total, batting in the middle order.
The Kookaburra bowlers bowled economically to restrict Young to 6/109 in their 25 over run chase.
Sam Sharman completed a fine all-round display taking two wickets off his four overs.
Harvey Holt, Darion O'Toole and Nick Loutitt took a wicket each.
In the other under 16 match involving Cootamundra, Blake Sloan (36) and Michael Perry (22) set the platform for the Cockatoos in their win over the Temora Scorchers.
The good early work continued down the order with Lachlan Webb, Koby Godbier (25) and Matt Durham (12) all reaching double figures as the Cockatoos finished their 25 overs at 4/130.
Temora was restricted to 6/102 in their run chase with the openers dismissed early before a middle order fightback.
Cockatoos used eight bowlers with Michael Perry and Blake Sloan taking two wickets each.
Other wicket takers were Koby Godbier and Lachlan Webb.
The two Cootamundra sides now sit in equal third position on the competition ladder with 23 points each, with Cockatoos leading on percentages.
