The second in the popular Politics in the Pub series for 2020 is coming up next Monday, March 2, at the Central Hotel.
Dr Tim Kurylowicz, head of eastern Riverina Arts, will speak on the subject "I bless the rain": Why the arts are essential to drought and disaster response.
His talk starts at 5.30pm, with discussion going to 7pm and later for those who'd like to stay for dinner.
TOURISM ACTION
The Cootamundra Tourism Action Group (CTAG), is preparing for another successful year and seeking new committee members.
If you live in Cootamundra or surrounds and have some great ideas on how the town can flourish, the CTAG would love to meet you!
The group is a section 355 committee of council and meets monthly. It meets next Thursday March 5 at 4:30pm in the Stephen Ward rooms at the library. This will be the AGM, with positions of chair, deputy chair and secretary open.
